White-Water Rafting from Jarabacoa

Spend half a day rafting the Yaque del Norte, the longest river in the country, as it drops out of the Central Range through green mountain scenery. After a safety talk and a helmet, life jacket and paddle, you run a series of moderate rapids with a guide in every raft. No previous experience is needed, but you should be comfortable in the water and able to paddle as a team.
