Playa Frontón and Playa Rincón from Las Terrenas

You transfer from Las Terrenas to Las Galeras and board a small boat to Playa Frontón, a strip of sand under tall cliffs with reef right offshore for snorkelling. The boat then carries on to Playa Rincón, a long pale-sand bay where the Caño Frío river reaches the sea. The day runs about eight hours, with swimming and rest time at both beaches.
