Los Haitises National Park from Las Terrenas

From Las Terrenas you transfer to the pier and sail into San Lorenzo Bay, inside Los Haitises National Park. The boat weaves between green limestone hills and mangrove forest where pelicans and frigatebirds nest. With the guide you step ashore to visit caves covered in Taíno pictographs and petroglyphs, then sail back and return to Las Terrenas.
