El Limón Waterfall from Santo Domingo

You leave Santo Domingo for the village of El Limón on the Samaná peninsula. From there a horse or a walk takes you up a dirt trail through small farms and tropical woodland to the 40-metre waterfall, where you can swim in the pool at its base.
