El Limón Waterfall from Samaná

From the village of El Limón you ride on horseback along dirt tracks and stream crossings with a local guide until you reach the viewpoint above the falls. The final stretch is on foot, down steps to the base of the roughly 40-metre waterfall, where you can swim in the pool. Pick-up is available from various points on the Samaná peninsula.
