El Limón Waterfall from Las Terrenas

From Las Terrenas you head inland to the village of El Limón, where the trail to the waterfall begins. You climb on horseback or on foot along a dirt path through cocoa farms and thick tropical growth, with a local guide leading the way. At the end a fall of around 40 metres drops into a natural pool where you can swim before the return trip.
